Skills and Competencies

  • Cyber Risk Modeling Expertise: Deep working knowledge of cyber risk modeling and the cyber insurance market.
  • Client Engagement: Exceptional communication, presentation, and written skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and prospects.
  • Product Management Proficiency: Proven experience in product management, especially in overseeing cyber modeling solutions.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, quantitative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work with multiple engineering and field groups.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments, managing time effectively, and accepting ambiguity.
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn new concepts and technologies.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's or higher degree in natural sciences, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, data science, or information systems.

Responsibilities

The core purpose of this role is to oversee current and future cyber modeling solutions to support Moody's development agenda and commercial success.

The major responsibilities include:

  • Risk Management Needs: Understand the risk management needs of the cyber risk insurance market.
  • Market Requirements: Engage directly with clients to understand and prioritize their business objectives.
  • Roadmap Creation: Develop and manage the ongoing roadmap for cyber models.
  • Client Engagement: Represent Moody's as a cyber risk domain expert, engaging in client discussions and delivering value-based presentations.
  • Technical Discussions: Present and discuss model features, methodology, and usage with clients and prospects.
  • Problem Solving: Develop solutions to client inquiries requiring subject matter expertise.
  • Sales Support: Enable sales activities, support the sales cycle, and educate colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Advocacy and Evangelism: Present at conferences, serve as a thought leader, and advocate for product management best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work with remote and local teams to deliver solutions and support clients.

Our Model Product Management team within Moody's Insurance Business Unit drives the strategic direction and execution of cyber risk modeling solutions, integrating cutting-edge technologies and leading transformative initiatives globally.
