We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join the Digital Insights team. In this role, you'll be responsible for accelerating revenue growth by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities within a defined portfolio of existing accounts, while also initiating and managing new business opportunities from prospecting through to deal closure.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to expand Moody's presence within your assigned territory, focusing on our flagship Credit Research offerings and the innovative GenAI-powered Research Assistant.
  • Full Sales Lifecycle Ownership: Lead the end-to-end sales process-from identifying new prospects and leveraging existing relationships to delivering compelling presentations and negotiating contracts.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Develop a deep understanding of client organizations and workflows to recommend the most relevant products and licensing solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates, ensuring transparency and alignment with leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Strategists, Marketing, and other internal teams to bring the best of Moody's expertise into every client engagement.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Moody's at key industry events and company-sponsored functions to build brand awareness and foster client engagement.
  • This position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring up to 50% travel to engage with clients face-to-face, while also providing the flexibility of hybrid working.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales role within a research, data, or analytics vendor-ideally with a strong track record of selling to financial market
  • participants.
  • Consultative, solutions-based selling approach with the ability to influence stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are advantageous.
