Teaching Personnel are seeking motivated and reliable Lesson Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Ashford. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with strong classroom management skills who are looking to make a positive impact in education.

Responsibilities

As a Lesson Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom when teachers are absent to deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure that students remain engaged and focused on their learning.

  • Supervising classes and managing behaviour in line with school policies
  • Delivering pre-set work and ensuring pupils understand the tasks
  • Supporting students with their learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment
  • Providing feedback to teachers or department heads after lessons
Requirements
  • Has experience working with young people (e.g. in education, youth work, coaching, or similar)
  • Is confident with classroom or group management
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is proactive, reliable, and flexible in their approach
  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
