Job Title: Solution Architect - Lending & Integration
Location: London
Salary/Rate: Up to £450/day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: 18/08/2025 - Contract until 30/06/2026

We have an exciting opportunity available with a major consultancy client. They are currently seeking a skilled Solution Architect to support the delivery of a large-scale transformation programme within the financial services sector.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

This role will involve leading the architectural design and integration strategy across multiple programmes, ensuring robust data flows and effective interoperability within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

• Define and deliver end-to-end architecture across large transformation programmes.
• Lead the decomposition of applications and assess technical feasibility for proposed solutions.
• Align technical architecture with critical data flows across platforms (e.g., pricing, sanctioning).
• Drive integration strategy across related programmes and initiatives.
• Support platform decisions, including build vs. buy analysis.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across technology, delivery, and vendor teams to ensure architectural consistency.

Required Skills/Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect in large-scale technology transformations.
• Strong understanding of lending platforms, data integration, and financial systems.
• Proven experience with microservices, application decomposition, and cloud-native architecture.
• Ability to influence strategic decisions around platform solutions and vendor technologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business teams.
• Familiarity with architectural governance processes and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)

Desirable Skills/Experience

• TOGAF certification or similar architecture qualification.
• Experience working within regulated financial services environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Prior consulting experience in enterprise transformation projects.
