Job summary

Engine by Starling is seeking a Product Manager to join the Lending team and shape our lending products, including overdrafts, unsecured loans, mortgages and credit cards. You will work with Business Development, Customer Success and Engineering to understand client needs and translate them into features.

You will own product strategy, gather requirements, and manage the backlog within an engineering context, while communicating clearly with stakeholders and adapting to a fast-moving, flat team

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of product management or similar analytical role experience.
• Massive appetite for learning, listening, and growth in a fast-expanding fintech.
• FinTech exposure or regulated banking/lending environment is a plus.
• Product or engineering background with technical curiosity.
• Execution track record: delivering well-scoped tasks on time.
• Educational foundation in maths or STEM is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Development, Customer Success and Engineering to design solutions.
• Own product strategy, gather client requirements, and translate into features.
• Define solution design and own the product backlog in an engineering context.
• Communicate what, how, and why to the triad and flag blockers early.
