Leiths - Technician/Trainee

We are currently recruiting a Technician to join our Technical Service team based at our laboratory in Rigifa, Cove, Aberdeen. Trainees will be considered for this role as training will be provided.

This is an exciting opportunity to carry out construction materials testing under the mentorship of experienced Technicians in a UKAS accredited laboratory with one of Scotland’s largest privately-owned quarrying and civil engineering businesses.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Knowledge of British testing standards and specifications for concrete.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly conscientious and diligent.
• Self-motivated with a hands-on approach to work.
• Strong and adaptable work ethic.
• Professionalism in dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Valid driver’s license.
