We Are Swim is seeking engaged Operations Assistants to ensure a first-class, safe and warm experience at our venues. You will greet families, supervise poolside, maintain hygiene, and support the team to deliver high-quality lessons and exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates are friendly, reliable, and passionate about swimming, with a willingness to learn and adapt. Training and progression opportunities are provided, including potential cross-location work.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to high teaching and safety standards.
• Water rescue qualifications are desirable.
• First aid qualifications and/or experience are desirable.
• Experience working with children in a leisure environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer care, welcoming families and supporting every swimmer.
• Maintain the highest hygiene and cleanliness at site for a safe environment.
• Communicate confidently with customers and resolve queries on site.
• Be a pioneer for the brand with passion for its aims and values.
• Support attendees with first aid when required.
• Provide poolside supervision during lessons.
• Collaborate with team to maintain high standards.
• Attend training and team meetings to stay current.

The Role

We're looking for engaging, inspiring individuals to join our award-winning team as Operations Assistants. In this role, you shall provide support at the venues to ensure our customers receive a first-class; clean, warm and safe experience for the entirety of every visit.
You'll bring energy and personality to every shift, while maintaining the highest hygiene, safety and customer service standards ensuring every swimmer and parent enjoys a first-class experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide outstanding customer care, welcoming families, engaging with parents, and ensuring every swimmer feels supported.
• Maintain the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness at site to ensure a safe, clean and warm operating environment.
• Communicate confidently with existing and new customers, always delivering on-site resolutions to their queries and needs
• Be a pioneer for the brand with a clear passion for its aims and values
• Support all attendees at site with efficient and effective first aid response in appropriate situations
• Provide poolside supervisory duties during the operating of lessons
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to maintain our high standards.
• Attend training and team meetings to stay current and continuously improve.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to high teaching and safety standards.

Desirable:

• Water rescue or lifesaving qualification (STA Safety Award, L3 Lifeguard or RLSS NRASTC or NPLQ)
• First Aids Qualifications and/or experience
• Experience working with children in a leisure environment.
