Job summary

Stroud District Local Strategic Partnership in Stroud is seeking a friendly Customer Service Advisor to join the reception team, welcoming visitors and assisting with memberships, bookings and enquiries to create a warm, professional first impression.

The role requires flexibility to cover a 6.00am–10.00pm pattern on a seven-day opening, including evenings and weekends. Full training is provided and you’ll work with a supportive team across the centre.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, professional reception service
• Answering enquiries face to face, over the phone and by email
• Helping customers with bookings, memberships, payments and refunds
• Promoting our memberships, services and retail products in a positive and helpful way
• Handling feedback and complaints calmly, professionally and with a focus on finding solutions
• Supporting the administration of swim school and activity programmes
• Keeping the reception area clean, organised and welcoming
• Following health and safety, safeguarding and operational procedures
• Working closely with colleagues across the centre to support smooth day-to-day operations
