Job summary

Huntingdonshire District Council’s One Leisure Huntingdon is seeking a Recreation Assistant to deliver and support leisure centre services, including lifeguard duties, reception and gym support, to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

Experience as a lifeguard is ideal, training can be provided for the right candidate. You will complete a swimming competency test if not currently qualified, and the role requires a DBS check and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience as a lifeguard is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support leisure centre systems, procedures and programmes to ensure a quality customer experience.
• Work as a lifeguard, and assist on reception, in the gym and throughout the leisure centre.
