West Lothian Leisure (Xcite Craigswood) is seeking a part-time Customer Service Assistant to greet members and guests, serve meals and beverages, and support across Café and Reception.

You’ll be part of a friendly team delivering a first-class experience in a vibrant sports and fitness setting, with flexible hours across weekdays and weekends and opportunities for additional hours to cover absences or events.

Qualifications

• We’re looking for someone with good availability including weekdays and weekends who is reliable, adaptable and happy to support across different areas of the venue.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Prepare and serve a range of simple hot and cold meals, drinks, sandwiches and snacks
• Handle customer enquiries, providing accurate information about our services and facilities
• Ensure all business areas are clean, organised, and well-stocked with essential items
• Provide general assistance and ensure a positive experience for all visitors
• Work alongside a dedicated team to maintain high standards of customer care
• Deliver building tours and discuss membership options with new visitors
• Set up and take down sports equipment for various activities and classes
• Carry out regular cleaning duties to maintain hygiene and presentation standards
• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting with enquiries and promoting centre services
• Support different areas of the facility, including Reception and Café, as required
• Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
