Job description

With up to 200 indoor and outdoor activities available, Center Parcs is the perfect place for families to try something new together. The Leisure team plays a key role in ensuring families feel confident, safe and happy during their activity, whatever their age or ability.

There are many opportunities in the Leisure team, and our offering of activities continues to grow. From donning an eye patch in Pirate and Princess Adventure, to whizzing around a track in Quad Bike Safari or scaling the forest canopy in Aerial Adventure, our focus is on delivering a quality experience that guests will remember, whether it’s their first or fiftieth time.

LEISURE BOOKINGS ADVISOR / ACTIVITY HOST (FIXED-TERM) | £12.37 per hour

This is a fixed-term role until 25th September 2025

We are looking for a Leisure Bookings Advisor / Activity Host to support the Indoor Activities management team in ensuring the smooth running of Sports and Leisure facilities as well as hosting activities for our guests.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Booking activities
  • Hiring out sports equipment
  • Assisting guests with enquiries
  • Ensuring equipment safety checks are carried out prior to conducting any activity
  • Operating bowling lanes
  • Assisting in the pottery studio
  • Hosting Escape the Forest escape rooms experiences

New to Whinfell Forest, Escape the Forest offers friends and family an immersive experience in our escape rooms. In this role, you will deliver a great guest experience by hosting activity sessions with enthusiasm, engagement and professionalism.

HOURS OF WORK

Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 128 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis - Shifts will be between 8am - 9pm and will include alternate weekends. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

  • A sports and leisure background
  • Professional qualification in recreation / leisure / tourism
