Job summary

Cabot Learning Federation seeks a Casual Leisure Attendant for Monkton Wood Academy Sports Centre in Taunton. You will support activities, supervise users, and help keep facilities safe and welcoming for students and community users.

Qualifications

Safety‑aware – understands health & safety, security and safeguarding; stays alert when supervising facility users.
Great with people – communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, handles queries and concerns professionally.

Responsibilities

Setting up and packing down equipment for activities and bookings in a safe and timely way.
Supervising users and supporting the safe use of facilities
Keeping spaces clean and tidy, including changing rooms and indoor/outdoor areas.
Carrying out routine facility checks and basic maintenance of equipment.
Providing friendly and helpful customer service to visitors, community groups and hirers.
Supporting site security, including being a key holder where required
