A local authority in Scotland is looking for a dedicated Lifeguard to join their Leisure Team in Fauldhouse. The candidate will ensure safety in the swimming pool and provide coaching to users of various leisure facilities. Applicants must hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service. The role requires working flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
1 x 18 hours Fixed term until 31 March 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Leisure Team within Customer and Community Services. Working within a small team you will support a wide range of customers using the sport and leisure facilities within Fauldhouse Partnership Centre. These facilities include: swimming pool, sauna, steam room, sports hall and 3G Pitch.

We require you to be diligent and self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
You should have good interpersonal skills and have a track record in providing excellent customer service.
You must be in possession of a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
The leisure facilities are open during the day, in the evening and at weekends and a shift allowance of 10% is paid in recognition that you will be required to work at these times. Rota patterns can be discussed should you be invited to an interview.
