About The Role

Role: Leisure Attendant
Location: Chorley Leisure
Contract:Full time (40 hours per week) / Permanent
Salary: £27,788 - £28,230
Closing Date: 2 May 2025

Chorley Leisure are seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for sport, fitness and leisure to join the teams across our four leisure venues. This is a great opportunity to support the delivery of community leisure to residents in the Chorley Borough. Successful candidates will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

What you’ll be getting up to
  • Leisure Attendants are responsible for the day to day running of the facility, with duties including:
  • Customer service including managing bookings & answering enquiries
  • Ensuring supervision is always maintained of the pool and leisure facilities
  • Managing reception tills having financial responsibilities such as taking payments and bookings
  • Supporting the Duty Manager in supervising day to day health and safety, monitoring checks & standards
  • Providing a clean and enjoyable environment by maintaining housekeeping across the sites
Who we’re looking for
  • You must be self-motivated and able to work independently to maintain high levels of Safety, Service and Standards.
  • You will be experienced in working in a customer-facing environment and have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • You will have a pro-active attitude to health and safety and be comfortable in working with members of the public – we are looking for confident and positive additions to our team!
Other requirements
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS check (facilitated by Chorley Leisure)
