Job summary

Future Select is recruiting a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our Derby-based client. You will conduct thorough risk assessments on domestic hot and cold systems, cooling towers and healthcare process systems, producing detailed technical reports and site drawings.

Travel to client sites is required from time to time. Candidates should have City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing, ACOP L8/HSG 274 knowledge, and strong IT, literacy, numeracy, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
• City and Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing.
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Proficient using IT software.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold systems, cooling towers, and healthcare processes.
• Collate findings to produce detailed technical reports.
• Produce site‑specific schematic drawings.
• Contact clients to provide recommendations and project updates.
• Perform water sampling and temperature monitoring when required.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
