Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to join a small, independent consultancy in London. The role involves conducting on-site risk assessments with their digital system, no evening reports, and an impartial advisory stance for clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out risk assessments independently, strong water-systems knowledge, and be comfortable using digital reporting software on site. A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems.
• Cover residential and commercial sites across London and the South East.
• Inspect tanks, calorifiers, water heaters, booster sets, TMVs and pipework.
• Record full asset details (make, model, serial number and condition).
• Draw hand-drawn schematics on site.
• Work to ACOP L8, HSG274 and BS 8580-1.

A small, independent consultancy is looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team. They have no ties to water treatment companies, so their advice to clients is genuinely impartial.

One of the main perks of this role is that you complete the full assessment on site using their digital system. When you leave site, the job’s finished. There are no reports to write up in the evenings, and the office team handles all the CAD drawings.

They’re a friendly, close-knit team and want a technically strong Legionella Risk Assessor who takes pride in their work.
