Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Grays, Essex

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £43k + Training & Benefits

Our client, with a strong presence in the South East of England, is seeking a proactive and diligent Legionella Risk Assessor to manage their busy portfolio of client sites. Ideal candidates will have experience with both domestic and process water systems and be confident discussing technical guidelines. Access to the M4 is advantageous for easy travel to client sites.

The role involves travel around: Grays, Tilbury, Hornchurch, Rainham, Harlow, St Albans, Hatfield, Ilford, Barking, Chigwell, Enfield, Potters Bar, Watford, Epping, Cheshunt, Basildon, Wickford, Erith, Dartford, Kingston upon Thames, Epsom, Sutton, Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Gravesend, Bexleyheath, Caterham, Redhill, Oxted.

Experience / Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor, preferably within a Water Hygiene / Legionella company
2. Qualified with City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
3. Water hygiene / remedial experience is a plus but not essential
4. Strong literacy and numeracy skills
5. IT proficiency
6. Professional demeanor

The Role:

1. Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold water systems and process systems (including cooling towers)
2. Producing detailed reports outlining assessment findings
3. Creating site-specific schematic drawings
4. Meeting with clients to discuss reports and provide recommendations
5. Adhering to HSE and industry safety guidelines
6. Meeting targets and deadlines
7. Training new legionella risk assessors within the business
