Position: Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Derby

Salary/Package: £26,000 - £31,000, Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Holidays & Pension scheme, Tablet/iPad & more, Career progression.

Client:

A fast-growing water treatment company, specialising in Legionella control, now requires a Legionella Risk Assessor.

Candidate:

We are looking for a conscientious, reliable person capable of working independently and as part of a team. Progression through the company is available for those who seek it, with in-depth experience of hot and cold-water systems being essential. Experience with industrial cooling and private water supplies is beneficial, but training can be provided.

Responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out in-depth technical surveys of hot and cold-water systems for client sites.
• Conducting in-depth technical surveys of industrial cooling systems for client sites.
• Completing Private Water Supply Risk Assessments in accordance with the Private Water Supplies Regulations 2016.
• Producing professional survey & risk assessment reports detailing the current condition of the water systems, outlining the degrees of risk with respect to Legionnaires’ disease, along with any remedial works required to ensure compliance with current regulations.
• Completing additional water hygiene tasks as required by the company.

• Knowledge & understanding of HSG274 part 1, 2, or 3.
• Legionella Risk Assessor - City & Guilds certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• DBS Check.
