Job description

We are recruiting for a Legal Technology Analyst to join our FutureLaw team. We have offices across the UK and are open to this role being based in Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Manchester.

Your Role

• Assist the FutureLaw team in transforming legal services through technology, promoting its use within the firm and with clients.
• Support the management and implementation of the FutureLaw Legal Tech programme, including embedding new technologies and evaluating the tech stack.
• Become a subject matter expert and super-user for the FutureLaw tech stack.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the tech stack, including user administration and reporting.
• Identify and analyze client requirements to improve legal processes using technology.
• Support client projects by scoping needs, designing solutions, and integrating legal technologies.
• Develop understanding of key legal tech products and their applications.
• Assist in designing prototypes, proofs of concept, and final builds of legal tech solutions.
• Maintain documentation and provide guidance on legal technology best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders and clients to develop relationships and promote legal technology benefits.
• Serve as the first point of contact for users’ queries related to the tech stack.
• Collaborate with IT, Knowledge Management, and InfoSec teams.
• Support bids, proposals, and delivery involving legal technology.
• Monitor the legal tech market for trends and ROI opportunities.
• Manage relationships with legal tech vendors, including demos and rollouts.
• Educate clients and colleagues on FutureLaw products and services.
• Provide training, presentations, and demos of legal tech solutions.
• Share insights on legal technology trends and network within the legal tech community.
• Advocate for legal technology within and outside the firm.

Your Skills and Experience

• Innovative problem-solving skills and ability to handle critical issues efficiently.
• Early adopter and advocate of new technologies.
• Interest in LegalTech and digital markets; familiarity with eDiscovery, Contract Lifecycle Management, AI, automation, and eSignature is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in a legal, professional services, or law firm environment is preferred.
• Proactive team player with strong organizational skills.
• Client-focused approach and ability to work under pressure.
