The ideal candidate will manage a large caseload, support fee earners, and handle various administrative responsibilities in a hybrid working environment. We are recruiting an experienced Legal Secretary/Assistant to join our successful Serious Injury team in London.
We seek a talented individual to handle a large caseload, including chasing medical reports, reviewing records, and preparing trial bundles. The role also involves managing medical/treatment instructions, liaising with Counsel, paying disbursements, and drafting client correspondence. Additional duties include running retainers, supporting Fee Earners, reviewing CCTV footage, and booking legal hearings.
Administrative tasks such as arranging conferences, assisting with ledgers (client balances and aged debt), file transfers, and updating clients are also part of the role.
Previous legal secretarial experience is required; a law degree is not necessary.
