Fisher Jones Greenwood Solicitors is an award-winning and innovative law firm dedicated to providing excellent customer service and legal advice.

Our Private Client Team is experiencing growth, and we are seeking a Legal Secretary to join us in Colchester, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support fee earners with administration, transcription, document production, diary management, billing, and other tasks.
  2. Provide professional, friendly service to clients, including calls, emails, and meetings.
  3. Communicate effectively with colleagues and fee earners to ensure timely handling of messages and tasks.
  4. Process new clients and business opportunities efficiently; maintain knowledge of the department, clients, and firm.
  5. Follow all policies, procedures, and compliance regulations, including maintaining the client database.
  6. Perform any other duties as required.
Experience:
  • Experience working in a law firm, preferably within Private Client.
  • Experience with case management systems (desirable).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and workload prioritization.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office; high standards in word processing and audio typing.
