Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join our Governance, Funding and Corporate team.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will support 4-5 fee earners within the charity governance team. They should possess strong secretarial and administrative skills, with an eye for detail, excellent telephone manners, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Typing via dictation
  2. Document amendments, including reformatting and applying our house style
  3. Diary management
  4. File management, including opening/closing files, compliance checks, scanning, and saving documents
  5. Communicating with clients and professionals via telephone and email
Candidate Requirements

The candidate should have excellent typing and administrative skills, confidence in using Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the ability to develop strong client and third-party relationships. Admin and secretarial qualifications are preferred but not essential.
