NEW VACANCY Legal Secretary - Conveyancing | £25k - £28k

A well-regarded regional law firm is looking for a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their busy property department at their Salisbury office. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive team in a fast-paced and professional environment.

In this role, you’ll be supporting a Senior Fee Earner with a variety of administrative and secretarial tasks. This includes typing dictated letters, contracts, leases, and other legal documents, as well as handling day-to-day administration. You’ll liaise with clients, other solicitors, mortgage lenders, and estate agents, provide quotations for routine transactions, and prepare post-exchange and post-completion documentation. You’ll also be responsible for completing Local Authority and pre-exchange searches, opening new files, and preparing SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.

Ideally, you’ll have at least two years of experience in a conveyancing role with strong knowledge of the conveyancing process, especially the post-exchange and post-completion stages. Excellent audio typing skills, strong IT skills, and effective communication abilities are essential.

In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary based on experience, company pension, employee discounts, and 33 days’ holiday (plus an additional 10 days for long service), as well as clear pathways for career progression.
