Position Title: Legal Secretary – Conveyancing
Location: Tenterden
Salary:£25,000 (NegotiableDependenton experience

Work Type: Full-time, Permanent (9am – 5:30pm Mon-Friday)

About The Firm:
My client is an established and reputable law firm, known for their professional and client-focused approach. They have a busy conveyancing department and pride themselves on providing comprehensive legal services across multiple practice areas, with multiple offices across a large area of the South Of England.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support a busy conveyancing team in Tenterden. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial assistance, manage diaries, handle client interaction, conduct audio transcription, prepare legal documentation, and manage telephone queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing full secretarial support to the conveyancing team.
  • Diary management and arranging client meetings.
  • Audio transcription and preparation of correspondence and legal documents.
  • Handling telephone queries from clients and third parties.
  • Submitting searches and preparing relevant legal forms.
  • Meeting and greeting clients professionally.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in residential conveyancing within a legal setting.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional client management.
  • Technical proficiency, ideally with Land Registry Portal, BigHand, Oyez Forms, Searchflow, or Partner 4 Windows (advantageous).
