Legal Secretary Requirements:

Proven experience as a Legal Secretary (ideally in a Private Client Department – Wills, Trust Probate) Excellent knowledge of legal terminology and documentation Proficiency in MS Office and legal software Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Legal Secretary Responsibilities:

Assisting with the drafting and filing of legal documents and client telephone queries Managing and organizing legal correspondence and documentation – typing correspondence and document (audio experience desirable) Coordinating appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements Providing administrative support to legal professionals – file opening, giving quotes and sending out quote letters, scanning, photocopying and filing, managing email correspondence Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion Ensuring the smooth running of the department and assisting with general compliance
