An esteemed legal firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary / Assistant to join their team on a temporary, full-time basis. The role is based in Bangor, near the Menai Straits, offering a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values its employees.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting a busy department with correspondence and document preparation
  • Managing workload proactively to ensure smooth departmental operations
  • Liaising with clients via telephone and other communication methods
  • Providing secretarial support to solicitors and team members
  • Managing diaries and scheduling appointments for clients
  • Assisting the Practice Manager with monthly file reviews
  • Ensuring effective secretarial coverage within the team
  • Typing letters, attendance notes, and bills from digital dictation; monitoring and replying to emails

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Audio-typing with high accuracy and speed
  • Proficiency in computer applications
