Job description

GHP Legal Solicitors are a Legal 500 Law Firm, serving a client base stretching across Wales & England.

We are offering an opportunity to join our Wrexham team, and are looking to recruit a full-time secretary in the Firm’s Family Department.

The candidate will be required to work dealing sensitively with client enquiries and with the ability to deal with all aspects relating to the department and provide support to the fee earners within the department.

This role is not a hybrid role, it is based on site in the Wrexham office.

Previous legal secretarial experience is desirable but not essential.

The role will involve:

· Working alongside our team of Solicitors and assist with the running of files
· Answering telephone enquiries
· Liaise with clients in person and virtually
· File management

The Candidate should demonstrate:

· Excellent audio typing skills
· Excellent communication, numeracy and IT skills
· Be able to show initiative and work independently
· Follow instruction and work as part of a team
· Be highly organised and punctual
· Work well under pressure
· Be able to prioritise work to meet deadlines set
· Pro-active and positive attitude
· Be personable and professional.

The ability to deal calmly and sensitively with people is essential as are problem-solving abilities and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Any familiarity with case management systems would be extremely useful.
