What will you be doing?

As a Legal Secretary you will be the backbone of our legal department, ensuring smooth administrative operations and supporting legal professionals with vital day-to-day tasks. Think of yourself as the trusted right hand to our legal team, ensuring everything runs like clockwork behind the scenes.

Your exceptional administrative expertise and superior people skills will help you to provide a blend of clerical support to our employment department. Typical duties will include (but are not limited to) managing client onboarding, opening new files, running reports, file administration, event management, chasing purchase orders and raising invoices. Supporting Fee Earners in the preparation of bundles for hearings, typing attendance notes and legal letters will also form a large part of this role.

What do I need?

If you are hardworking, well organised, enjoy working as part of a successful team, and but can also work independently using your initiative, then we can help you build a long and rewarding legal career with HF! We would ideally be looking to hear from those who have previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Administrator, Legal Assistant, or similar role.

A strong knowledge of legal terminology, documentation, and processes with competence using case management software and finance systems would be highly advantageous. You will be competent in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.) and able to prioritise multiple tasks with ease.
