A busy, long-established general legal practice is seeking an organised and motivated Legal Secretary to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in family law, as well as for recent graduates eager to begin their legal career in a supportive and professional environment. The role offers hands-on exposure to a broad range of legal tasks and a chance to work alongside experienced legal professionals.

Prior experience in family law (or a strong academic foundation for graduates)

Ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

Perform audio typing and prepare legal documents using Microsoft Office and the firm's case management system

Provide administrative support to legal professionals, including managing schedules and organising files

Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues

Handle correspondence and maintain well-organised files, demonstrating strong time management and organisational abilities

Provide reception cover when required
