Job description

Legal Secretary, Cambridgeshire, up to c GBP 25,000 (DOE): A new opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary with strong all-round legal secretarial experience, including residential conveyancing, to join a busy team in Cambridgeshire. JOB REF: 0589.

The Role
  • Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to solicitors and fee earners across a range of legal matters.
  • Drafting and formatting legal correspondence and documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Diary management, booking appointments, and organising meetings.
  • Handling client queries with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ensuring compliance with office procedures and legal protocols.
  • Supporting other departments as required with general secretarial tasks.
Skills Required
  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary with solid generalist secretarial skills.
  • Experience and confidence working in residential conveyancing.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
  • Proficient IT skills including MS Office and legal case management systems.
  • A friendly, professional manner with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
