Job summary

Carter Murray is seeking a Business Development Manager / Account Executive to drive new customer acquisition across the UK legal sector with a focus on selling SaaS solutions to law firms and legal teams.

You will manage the complete sales process—from prospecting to contract signature—while building relationships with senior stakeholders and delivering product demonstrations. The role demands a consultative, results-driven salesperson with a track record of hitting targets.

Qualifications

• Proven success in B2B software or SaaS sales.
• Experience managing a consultative sales process.
• Strong new business hunting and closing ability.
• Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Generate and close new business opportunities across the UK legal market.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract signature.
• Develop relationships with senior decision-makers including Managing Partners, Practice Managers, Operations Directors, and General Counsel.
• Conduct discovery meetings, product demonstrations, and commercial negotiations.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking.
