Job Description:

JOB TITLE: PA

TERM: Permanent

HOURS: Full-time, 9:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch.

A flexible approach to working hours is a must, overtime may be required at busy times.

During probationary period, attendance at the office 4 or 5 days per week is expected. Following this, at least 4 days of office work per week will be required, in line with the Principal's chosen office days. Our hybrid working policy is discretionary and may change.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We seek an experienced PA with Real Estate experience to support our Real Estate & Development team, mainly with Residential and some Commercial property matters. You will support the Principal and contribute to various property transactions, with opportunities for career development in a close-knit environment.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The team advises property investors, developers, owner-managed businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts, and large corporates, handling transactions like acquisitions, disposals, lettings, joint ventures, property finance, landlord and tenant matters, and more, throughout the transaction lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver high-quality work while managing deadlines
  • Oversee file opening, due diligence, and client ID documentation, escalating as needed
  • Assist with transaction management, document preparation, and file closing
  • Manage diaries, meetings, travel, and client billing
  • Coordinate with authorities, conduct research, and handle extensive document work
  • Implement reporting, transaction monitoring, and liaise with fee earners and external parties
  • Use digital dictation and document management systems efficiently
  • Handle post-completion tasks like SDLT returns and registration applications
  • Draft various property documents and assist with lease extensions and enfranchisement work

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior Real Estate law experience (essential)
  • Proven experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or PA
  • Knowledge of SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, pdfDocs, PowerPDF, Adobe, and DocuSign
  • Understanding of GDPR, confidentiality, and compliance
  • Calmness under pressure, adaptability, and discretion
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • A positive attitude and reliability

Qualifications such as a law degree (LLB) or CILEx Level 3 Diploma are desirable but not mandatory.
