Job description

Job Description

Innovation Technology Specialist – Legal Tech | Hybrid – London

I'm currently working with a leading international law firm that’s genuinely investing in innovation and legal technology, and they're looking for someone passionate about shaping the future of legal service delivery. This role sits at the heart of the firm's innovation journey and is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to be part of that transformation.

Whether you're from a legal background and keen to pivot into tech, or already working in LegalTech and want to be more embedded in how tech is applied in practice, this role has real breadth and impact.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be the go-to person for helping lawyers make the most of innovation-related tech tools. That includes:

  • Supporting the use of legal technology tools on live matters – think HighQ, generative AI platforms, contract review AI, and more.
  • Setting up client or matter-specific platforms and portals.
  • Delivering training and acting as a subject matter expert for key tools.
  • Collaborating with legal teams and business services to drive efficiencies across the board.
  • Spotting opportunities to apply tech and automation to day-to-day legal work.
  • Helping increase uptake of innovation tools by raising awareness internally - through training, informal chats, sharing user success stories, etc.

You’ll also be part of a wider innovation network, acting as an ambassador and helping the firm drive its innovation strategy from the ground up.

What they’re looking for:

You don’t need to tick every box, but they’re ideally looking for someone who:

  • Has some hands-on experience working with legal technology - whether that’s through previous LegalTech roles or legal professionals who’ve worked closely with these tools.
  • Is confident presenting and can explain tech in a clear, accessible way.
  • Has great relationship-building skills and can liaise with lawyers, business services, and vendors.
  • Is organised, proactive, and motivated by helping others work smarter, not harder.

Bonus points if you’ve worked with tools like HighQ, Office & Dragons, or contract AI platforms or have experience in legal project work or disputes/transactional teams.

Why this role?

  • Hybrid working model (office + remote).
  • Genuine innovation investment—this isn’t just lip service.
  • You’ll have full training on the specific tools.
  • You’ll be part of a collaborative, friendly team making real change happen.

If you’re curious about legal innovation and want to work in a role where you can influence how tech is applied in a top-tier legal environment, I’d love to chat with you. Drop me a message or send your CV across!
