Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide or arrange legal advice and ensure the Bank complies with statutory and regulatory procedures to mitigate litigation risks.
  • Assist the Company Secretary with secretarial duties.
  • Review and update standard documents of the Bank, consulting external legal advisors as needed.
  • Review, amend, and approve contractual documents with the Bank's suppliers and service providers.
  • Negotiate and finalize legal documentation, including banking agreements with customers.
  • Manage litigation through the Bank's solicitors.
  • Provide advice on employment law and regulations.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters.

Skills:

  • 3-5 years' experience in drafting legal documentation within a financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of banking services and products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
