A leading organization is seeking an experienced Legal Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will manage a team, oversee complex legal projects, and work closely with government entities. Applicants must be UK qualified solicitors or barristers with managerial experience and excellent negotiation skills.
An opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to join a non-departmental public body (NDPB) which funds projects and activities that transform communities. This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract for the role of Legal Manager.
As the Legal Manager, you will report to the Head of Legal Services and manage a team of 5. Your responsibilities include overseeing compliance processes, legal policies, legal projects, procurement, and risk strategies. You will focus on high-value, high-risk, and complex legal projects, building relationships with organizational leaders and external stakeholders, including Government entities and other NDPBs.
Candidates must be UK qualified solicitors, barristers, or equivalent, with at least seven years of relevant experience. Previous team management experience, excellent commercial acumen, and negotiation skills are required. Experience working for a similar public body or within the public sector is highly desirable.
