Job summary

Hire Purpose partners with a regional law firm to appoint its first Practice Innovation Lead. You’ll shape how knowledge, processes, technology and AI elevate lawyers’ efficiency, profitability and client service across multiple offices in the South West.

Based in a hybrid role, you’ll design governance, lead change, and drive the adoption of practical legal tech and data-driven approaches that translate insight into measurable outcomes for people and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in a legal services environment and within a knowledge management role.
• Track record implementing legal tech, AI or knowledge projects.
• Experience leading operational improvement or change projects.
• Able to engage and secure buy-in from senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Operational excellence: improving processes, workflows and reducing admin for the team.
• Legal technology and AI: identifying use cases, leading rollouts, driving adoption and ROI.
• Knowledge management: developing precedents, templates and practice guidance across offices.
• Data and insight: turning data into information to help plan, price and deliver work.
• Change and transformation: championing continuous improvement and bringing people with you.
