About The Job

We’re looking for a Legal & Export Control Manager to be responsible for the development and implementation of standardized legal and export compliance practices across all TSS UK locations.

About The Role

Reporting to the Aerospace General Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with UK, US, and EU export/import regulations. This role can be based in Solihull or Burntwood, with regular travel to other UK sites.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Stay informed on export control regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR, sanctions) and ensure company-wide compliance
  • Identify and mitigate export compliance risks
  • Develop and maintain a robust export compliance framework
  • Deliver training and internal communications to promote compliance awareness
  • Manage export licenses, applications, renewals, and reporting
  • Conduct internal audits and monitor export activities
  • Provide regular compliance reports and insights to senior leadership

About The Ideal Candidate

Education and Experience:

  • Solid knowledge of export control laws and regulations (EAR, ITAR, UK/EU)
  • Experience in export compliance within the Defense or Aerospace sectors is a plus
  • Degree or equivalent experience in international trade, business, law, or a related field is desirable
