A local government authority in Nottingham is seeking a highly organized legal assistant to manage property transactions and support its Conveyancing and Right to Buy Teams. Ideal candidates will have experience in property and conveyancing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement and competitive benefits.

Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Worker Type: Hybrid Worker
Salary: Starting Salary is £28,598 - (Level 1) rising to £31,022 (Level 4) per annum (pro rata for part-time)

About the Role
You will be dealing with a range of property transactions on behalf of various Council departments which include Right to Buy disposals, auctions sales and other disposals, purchases, granting of leases, lease management transactions, licences, easements, supporting the Council’s asset rationalisation, regeneration projects and other property related advice.
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient legal assistant to join and support our Conveyancing and Right to Buy Teams. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative and communication skills, experience in dealing with routine conveyancing and property transactions, an ability to work both independently (with supervision) and as part of a wider team, a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing tasks. You will be an essential part of our Conveyancing team.
