Job summary

Albany Beck is seeking a Legal Entity Reporting Manager to lead regulatory reporting within a banking environment. You will oversee capital, leverage, and large exposure reporting, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance across entities.

Enhance governance, establish workstreams, and coach junior team members while partnering with Finance, Risk, Treasury and Compliance teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality regulatory outputs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Legal Entity Reporting or regulatory reporting in banking.
• Strong understanding of Capital Adequacy, Leverage Ratio and Large Exposures.
• Experience preparing or reviewing regulatory returns in banking.
• Ability to draft policies and governance documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review inputs for regulatory licence applications focusing on Capital, Leverage and Large Exposure.
• Support new legal entity reporting workstreams with governance and procedures.
• Produce and enhance Capital and Leverage reporting per requirements.
• Ensure timely regulatory submissions and regulator responses.
• Develop controls and governance across legal entity reporting activities.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting and Compliance.
• Interpret regulatory requirements impacting legal entity reporting.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and governance.

We are seeking a Legal Entity Reporting Manager to support the establishment and ongoing management of legal entity reporting, governance, and regulatory obligations within a banking environment. This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of capital, leverage, and large exposure reporting while supporting regulatory applications and engagement with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will combine strong prudential reporting expertise with governance, regulatory reporting, and stakeholder management experience, helping to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the effective operation of the legal entity framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and challenge financial inputs into regulatory licence applications, with a particular focus on Capital, Leverage and Large Exposure requirements.
• Support the establishment of new legal entity reporting workstreams, including policy development, governance frameworks, and operating procedures.
• Produce, review, and enhance Capital and Leverage reporting in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of regulatory submissions and responses to regulator requests.
• Develop and maintain robust controls, documentation, and governance processes across legal entity reporting activities.
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, and Compliance functions.
• Support the interpretation and implementation of regulatory requirements impacting legal entity reporting.
• Monitor reporting deadlines and ensure all deliverables are completed to a high standard.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, controls, and governance arrangements.
• Provide oversight, coaching, and support to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.

Skills & Experience

• Experience within Legal Entity Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Capital Management, Prudential Reporting, or Finance Control functions.
• Strong understanding of Capital Adequacy, Leverage Ratio, Large Exposures, and prudential regulatory requirements.
• Experience preparing or reviewing regulatory returns and submissions within a banking environment.
• Knowledge of legal entity governance frameworks and regulatory reporting processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and regulatory information.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience drafting policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members.

Preferred Background

• Banking or regulated financial services experience.
• Exposure to regulatory licence applications, entity establishment programmes, or organisational restructures.
• Experience working with Prudential Regulation, Capital Management, Treasury, or Regulatory Change initiatives.
