THE COMPANY

THE ROLE

For a knowledge paralegal, specialist legal editor or other legal knowledge professional looking for a change of direction in the editorial field.

This role is at the cutting edge of legal developments and offers a great work life balance without sacrificing the intellectual challenge.

Key responsibilities usually include:
Developing editorial practices in one or more areas of law;
Promoting excellence in one or more of the team's technical workstreams (such as case reporting, copy editing and preparing legislation);
Acting as a point of contact and source of advice for specialist PSLs;
Supervising Legal Editors and guiding best practice where appropriate;
Leading projects to add value to content or improve internal processes;
Onboarding new joiners; and
Where appropriate, general Editorial Team tasks such as editing, proofing, summarising and preparing content for publication.

ABOUT YOU

With at least one year of relevant professional experience the successful candidate will have:

Proven aptitude in legal editorial work.

Exceptional writing skills and a keen interest in contributing to an innovative product and delivering an exceptional, market-leading service;

This role is based in central London with significant flexibility for remote working.
