LEGAL COUNSEL ROLE - c.1-3 YEARS' PQE

FULL TIME LONDON/HYBRID

Our client, a leading international distributor of TV programming and formats, is seeking a dynamic Legal Counsel to join their top quality Legal and Business Affairs team.

You will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of the company's operations worldwide. This role offers variety and the flexibility to engage with various facets of business affairs, including rights in, acquisitions, licensing and formats.

The role will support mainly non-scripted acquisitions of rights and content and collaborate with the Production and Content teams, offering legal and commercial advice on acquiring distribution rights, drafting and negotiating distribution agreements, focusing on group-produced programs and advising on some formats and licensing.

The successful candidate will have around 1-3 years’ PQE, or equivalent if qualified by experience. We are looking for previous TV experience and strong drafting skills, initiative and teamwork. Your technical skills may be across distribution or equally production.
