Legal Counsel | International SaaS Business | London

Due to expansion, this expanding international Software business are seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join their stellar legal team.

Based at their London office, but with plenty of hybrid flexibility, you'll report directly to the General Counsel and will have management responsibility for a Legal Analyst.

The Business
The business is a leading technology company specialising in the SaaS marketplace. With headquarters in London, the company offers innovative services and solutions to a range of high net-worth clients globally. Their primary focus is on providing cutting-edge technology and expertise to support businesses in various industries.
As a pioneer in the SaaS industry, the business collaborates closely with product teams to develop and launch new technologies and offerings. The company's legal team plays a crucial role in managing and negotiating commercial contracts, assessing legal and business risks, and providing specialised legal expertise in the SaaS marketplace.

The Role
Your primary role will be to provide specialised legal expertise, ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and regulations relevant to the SaaS industry. You will be managing and overseeing inbound and outbound commercial contracts, incl; SaaS contracts and various other technology-focused contracts.

In addition to contract work, you will play a vital role in supporting their product teams as they develop new technologies and bring them to market. By identifying and resolving go-to-market and compliance issues, you will help ensure that the businesses product offerings meet legal requirements and are launched successfully.

Moreover, you will be actively involved in identifying and assessing legal and business risks associated with current commercial operations and processes. This will enable you to provide valuable insights and recommendations to mitigate risks and ensure the company's long-term success. It is also essential to collaborate with various business owners and legal colleagues, you will contribute to the development of process improvements, templates, and operational policies to enhance efficiency and compliance within the organization.
