Job description

Job Description

Legal Counsel – Renewable Energy Projects | London / Hybrid

Overview:

I'm working with a UK based infras investor that’s scaling its renewable energy portfolio across the UK and Europe. As they take on more complex development-stage deals, they’re looking to bring in a Legal Counsel to work across project contracts, development structuring, and construction oversight.

This is an excellent role for someone moving out of private practice or already in house at a developer or fund.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support legal aspects of project development: land, grid, permitting, and commercial contracts
  • Draft and negotiate NDAs, term sheets, land agreements, and consultant contracts
  • Work closely with investment, asset management, and external counsel teams
  • Help shape legal processes and manage deal flow at portfolio level

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–8 years PQE, ideally from an energy/infra team
  • UK qualified; renewables experience strongly
  • Strong communicator with a commercial, pragmatic approach
  • Open to working across new jurisdictions and asset classes

Why Apply:

  • Join a lean legal team at the heart of a growing fund
  • Exposure to deals, strategy, and senior stakeholders
  • Opportunity to grow into a senior role as the platform scales
