Job description

Legal Counsel (Real Estate/Commercial) - Maternity Cover *Uxbridge*

A leading multinational specialist social care services provider is seeking an immediately available UK-qualified lawyer to provide maternity cover for 6 to 12 months.

The role involves managing property portfolio transactions, including lease negotiations and renewals, property sale and purchase transactions, lease surrenders, licenses to occupy, Service Level Agreements, and other related agreements. Additionally, the role supports the Senior Legal Counsel with general commercial and corporate matters, reviewing, drafting, and amending a wide range of commercial agreements, and assisting with acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and partnerships.

Candidates must be qualified solicitors in England and Wales with at least 4 years PQE, gained through in-house experience or a reputable firm. A strong background in commercial property matters and broad commercial contracts experience are essential. The ability to manage workloads effectively, along with strong communication and IT skills, is also required.
