Job Description:

Our client is a fast-growing company backed by major investors. The business partners with leading brands across retail, hospitality, and leisure sectors. Due to growth, the legal team is seeking a Property Counsel to lead on commercial property and general business affairs, including transitioning commercial leasing activities in-house and setting legal strategy in other areas.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead commercial leasing expertise as the company's property law specialist;
• Design and implement plans to bring external legal work in-house;
• Mentor and develop junior legal professionals in property matters;
• Handle complex commercial lease negotiations.

The ideal candidate would be qualified in England and Wales with at least three years PQE, seeking to move in-house to a modern, collaborative legal team. The role reports to the General Counsel and involves delegation to junior team members.
