Reporting to the Head of Legal. The Senior Construction Lawyer will play a fundamental part in shaping the future success of the Legal function as the business grows.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating and advising on a variety of construction related agreements. Other responsibilities will include providing advice on construction litigation matters. Provide steering and advice to the business on various legal issues affecting the house building sector.
You will bring a proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to legal matters and a proven ability to work collaboratively across the organisation and specifically within the wider legal team.
The successful candidate will have at least 4 PQE, having trained in a top UK law firm or inhouse. Ideally, with experience gained within the property and construction sector. Experience of working in a fast-paced in-house environment is desirable. This role would suit someone who is commercially astute and who thrives in a fast paced, complex, and rapidly changing environment.
