Role Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and talented commercial lawyer to join AS Watson UK’s legal team (“Team Legal”), supporting our retail units: Superdrug, Savers, and The Perfume Shop. This role can be full-time (3 days in-office) or part-time (4 days with 2 in-office).

Key responsibilities include:

• Building relationships with stakeholders across business units and legal teams.
• Being the principal legal advisor on Marketing & IP matters.
• Developing strategies to ensure effective compliance with Marketing & IP regulations.
• Creating engaging training programs to promote legal compliance.
• Supporting delivery of new business initiatives, including IT and Online teams.
• Networking with peers to share best practices and promote UK business interests.
• Maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies like ASA.
• Supporting strategic commercial contracts, e.g., with marketing agencies.
• Managing risks from legislative changes.
• Staying updated on developments in Marketing and IP law.

Requirements:

• Law license in the UK, Europe, US, or other common law jurisdiction.
