A leading international service provider in Aberdeen is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its legal and compliance function. Responsibilities include contract qualification and review, advising business units on legal issues, and assisting with M&A activities. The ideal candidate holds an English or Scots Law Qualification and possesses strong analytical and negotiation skills. A competitive remuneration package is offered for this hybrid working role.
Hours of Work: 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday; this role is eligible for hybrid working

We now have an exciting and challenging opportunity to join ASCO Group as Legal Counsel to join our Legal and Compliance function which supports ASCO's business in the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities and scope include contract qualification and review, and supporting business units on legal and compliance matters. Knowledge of LOGIC type contracts, GDPR, ABC, sanctions compliance and data protection are relevant to this role. The role will also support Group activities such as Insurance renewals, M&A and financing exercises in conjunction with external advisers, and will report to the Group General Counsel.
Minimum Qualifications
• English or Scots Law Qualification as a Solicitor.
