Global professional services business looking for a Junior Legal Counsel with commercial contracts experience to join their team to cover a maternity leave for an 11 month period. This is on a hybrid working basis with 3 days in the Central London office. Applications from both UK and overseas lawyers are welcomed. And whilst prior in-house would be preferred, if you have drafted contracts in a law firm setting, this represents a great opportunity to make an in-house move.

On a day-to-day basis, the role will involve:

• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing and commercial agreements, as well as assisting the business in negotiations with clients and suppliers
• Helping the business on contractual terms with clients to ensure deals and transactions reach a successful conclusion
• Advising the business on ad hoc queries relating to the sector
• Reviewing contracts relating to areas such as IT, marketing and employment
• Assisting with litigation matters including responding to basic county court claims.
