Job Description:

Position Overview:

The legal team is seeking to hire a Legal Counsel specializing in Employment Law on a fixed-term contract, commencing in November/December 2025 and running through to September 2026.

  • Negotiating PM employment/engagement terms across multiple jurisdictions, including bespoke payout arrangements, profit sharing arrangements and spinouts.
  • Drafting of employment, confidentiality, secondment, termination and settlement agreements.
  • Advising the business on contractual terms, restrictive covenants, and regulatory requirements in both existing office locations and new jurisdictions.
  • Advising the business on employee exits, disciplinary actions and enforcement of post-termination obligations.
  • Managing employee related litigation.
  • Drafting template documents and maintaining contract databases. Providing reporting to senior management and advising on new relevant legislation/regulation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6-10 years PQE, having trained with an established employment practice with experience of financial services clients and some in-house experience.
  • This is a global role managing time-sensitive matters. Responsiveness is key and it is expected that documents are turned in a timely fashion (even if out of core hours).
  • Must be organised, able to learn quickly and have the confidence and ability to function independently. Should have good judgment regarding when to escalate issues.
  • Must be a strong communicator with the ability to deal confidently with senior stakeholders and potential candidates.
  • Strong negotiating skills are essential.
